Respect
There are different types of respect. Respect out of fear, academics, lots of stuff. However, respect can be limited to certain groups and people. When a group is usually perceived negatively, or even is a stigma, the individual who proves that stereotypical notion wrong in a positive way deserves respect. An obious topic? Lebs studying and being polite.Ive mentioned this before that year 9 lebs raped me in maths. Utterly crushing me in intelligence levels. They knew all this stuff on points of inflexion and polynomials in year 9 and i gotta say, i highly respect them. Slightly, they still have the stereotypical lebo behaviour of being obnoxious and kinda noisy, but nethertheless, working hard. You don't see that many intelligent lebs nowadays, or maybe its because of the neighbourhood or school i go to. Lebs doing either extension 2 english or maths would definitely have my respect. Education is everything. Without education, you're conpletely worthless; nothing to contribute to humanity and certainly being a burden. Lebs are usually perceived in a way that education means little to them. What jobs do you associate with lebs? Doctor? Lawyer? I highly doubt that. Although the hard workers do make it there, just a small percentage. I repeat, lebs who value study have my respect. Politeness. I mean, why are most of the lebs i encounter mannerless? No thank you or please from them. They play music whenever the fuck they want, disregarding the neighbours who have to deal with their shitty rapping music. I remember being at my auntie's house when a leb came along and knocked at the door. You know what he said? "We're sorry if there's a lot of noise because we're constructing a table" Respect. He gained my utmost respect. Do lebs do that? Not really. That guy actually considered his neighbours and gave them a warning in advance. Its like playing music or having a party. Tell the neighbours earlier and finish the party at a reasonable time so everyone wins. My lebo neighbour has random parties finishing early in the morning usually. And i usually have school or tutor the next day. And i feel like shit. They stand out. I respect all asians, but the respect i have for smart or polite lebs surpasses the respect i have for most asians. Why? Asians are usually courteous and studious. Well the ones ive met anyway. Most of them. Topic plagiarised from kwo LOL tagboard
