Tutor

So tutor is a real serious topic in asian families. The moral: there is never too much learning =( It may seem easy for parents to bring their kid to tutor and watch them outperform everyone in their class, but how about if the kid doesn't? Long ass lecture coming up.

Tutor is like an accelerated school. Except you can wear whatever the hell you want most of the time. Yeah thats the only difference i can think about. But the thing is that when a tutor doesn't accept everyone. Tutor is meant to help the mediocre to be smarter right? Or is it really to make the ones who are smarter push past their limits and excel? Depends on which tutor. Frankly, all this shit about kicking people out of tutor because they don't do homework or fail a test is fucked up in a way, but it also makes sense. Example, a person goes to tutor because they aren't smart, so why the fuck do they get kicked out if they fail? It's because they need more time to learn ITS WHY THEY HAVE TUTOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. Then theres the Darwinian theory: survival of the fittest or natural selection. If you arent smart enough to psss, then you die and become extinct. Only those who can keep up with the tutor survive in the long term. Like giraffes with long necks opposed to midget giraffes with short and stubby necks.

So which performs better in results wise? The tutor who accepts all and has no punishment, or the one which is strict and the stakes are high? Yes, the latter one, but it's also possible for someone to get kicked out of a tutor and surpass everyone in any tutor. They just need to be taught the right method and that is the notion of tutor. You can have more than 10 hours of tutor a week, but if you aren't taught that shit properly, then thats 10 hours you have wasted. Parents try to get their kids in lots of tutors not because they want the kid to learn lots of shit and be the best, its for the kid to find out and distinguish which tutors suit the kid and help him the most efficiently. In my opinion, i do well in tutors which have lots and lots of fucking pressure. If my average for 3tests in a term is less than 50% thats going to motivate me to study because the consequences are really bad.

So don't rage at your parents for trying to help you get a better future, you may end up without a childhood, friendless and stressed out, but hey! At least you'll get that ATAR mark you wanted :D Unless you get fucked over in tests like me LOL
