The Judgement of Society's Individuals
It's precisely because of the unchanging nature of humankind that differences between people are born. It's why we've coined terms like 'elite' and 'failure'. It doesn't matter who you are. We're all judged on the basis of our looks, our intelligence, our talent. or our personalities... just as we judge others in their turn. Yes, it's a form of discrimination, and the factors that it's based on don't change. We have no choice... we must live within the boundaries set for us by the judgement of others. ~Neji Hyuuga

Manga should be used as a prescribed text in english, well the in depth ones anyway. But seriously now, im pretty sure ive mentioned something about discrimination in a previous post, but due to my inefficient skill, i don't know how to have that list where my previous posts can be accessed. I like it that way anyway, you don't read my blog, you don't read the posts you miss. But moving on with the topic.

Im confident that most of the quote is what our society is depicted as today. Sure we may promote the cease of discrimination, but it's human nature. It's like having a law where you can't blink if someone pokes you in the eye. You can't supress shit like that, you have to learn to live with it. We have all discriminated against someone before, i am absolutely certain of that. We may have had feelings of regret or satisfaction depending whether we hit the mark on our perception of a person or just didn't give a fuck about them after labelling them. All of us judge each other whether consciously or subconciously, we all act accordingly to our deductions. There is no escape from judgement. Suicide and be judged as a pathetic individual. Become antisocial and lock yourself away from human eyes, be judged as a hopeless person. Even being extremely nice to everyone, judged as a person having an planning ulterior move.

We humans survive through judging others, it comes naturally to us. This is why i view the notion that first impressions tell a lot about a person. Technically, me judging them from the first moment i see them. Sure there are people who shouldn't be judged. A facebook page had something where a 14 year old walks with her baby, people call her a slut but don't know she was raped at the age of 13. None of us could know something like that, yet we still judge others, usually neglecting the positive excuses we come up with for others. Don't judge a book by its cover. Then don't make books with covers eh? Problem solved. No one really cares about learning about a person's personality or their likes and dislikes if the person doesn't interest you at first. We're judgemental like that. How many of you know colin personally? I really couldn't care less about him at first, but after having great convos with him in commerce, i learned a lot of stuff about him. And im glad i have him as a friend i can trust.

We all judge each other constantly. Remember that, but don't take it too seriously because if your new personality contrasts too much with your former personality, people will suspect you of planning something. Unless you have an absolutely good reason for your change, then it's welcomed with open arms. Metaphorical arms which aren't made of metal.
