Seriousness
It's been quite a while since I've been motivated to write up something which isn't plain fluff. I've gotten 4.5 hours of sleep having to wake up my sister at 7:30 for school so it could just be me who's messed up right now. I am going to address the problem that some people have. Being overly critical. Now, we know there is an individual that is known to us who is very critical of everything. No matter what you do and say, 90% of the time, he will try to find something critical about it and just put you down as much as he can. That's not what a friend does. You don't look for fights amongst friends. Even if I disagree with someone, i refuse to succumb to ripping off those who I like and who hopefully feel the same way. I either keep it in or say it in the most polite way possible. However, this guy doesn't sugarcoat anything, he wraps it in poison, spits on it and smacks you in the face with it until you cry. Just recently, there was an argument about buying merchandise from an anime and whether or not it was crossing the line or not. Pretty much, a friend bought a cup with an anime character on it and this person thought it was too much. His logic and reasoning is so screwed up, I'm surprised he hasn't been diagnosed with Down Syndrome yet. Then he tries to support his argument by criticising my own statements. That moment, I seriously wanted to stop caring about them. I wanted to be a heartless bastard and just flame him down. But I didn't. I hate it. So i got advice from a friend and it kind of helped. But seriously, had i not been a slightly nice person, I would've become enemies with him ages ago with that smug attitude of his. Thinks he's all superior and almighty. I'm thankful I'm going to a university where he won't be there. I think he has an inferiority complex and as such, will try to act superior to everyone else, unknowingly sinking down to the lowest level of respect for most of us. Have some decency, a friend raged because of you. Just stop your foolishness and think of others. tagboard
