Connection

I feel like I have a deeper connection with Dota 2 people compared to LoL people. On skype, it's rare that the chat goes silent. We just love to talk to each other, comment on everything, it's really social and I love it so much. However with the LoL people, on past experiences the conversation was so quiet, I brought in my Dota 2 mood in I came out to be the annoying person who doesn't stop talking. But when I heard a conversation today with Shao in it, he really made me want to play LoL more frequently.

When he was screaming bullshit and commenting on other players, I thought I was in a Dota 2 game, that atmosphere he provided was incredible. And some of the people talked as well like Robert and Christina and Lucy slightly. It was pretty good if I do say so myself. Though I'm not sure if I come out as a person who doesn't shut up or my microphone is screwed up because I don't get responses from LoL people sometimes. I truly am sorry if I annoyed any of you people with me talking too much and all.

And with the Dota 2 people, I get responses so frequently. We talk so much we tell each other to shut up so we can hear what the other person is saying. In terms of gameplay, Dota 2 and LoL are quite similar though with some few, but very distinct differences. But the social atmosphere when I play the 2 MOBAs are completely different. I'm not saying that the LoL people are not sociable at all. Not saying that LoL is a shit game. I just absolutely prefer the skype conversations I have on Dota 2 compared to LoL. It's so much more lively. And it's because of what I witnessed today, I want to skype and play LoL with Shao because he makes the difference.

I've had a few good skype calls after a LoL or Dota 2 game either with a group or with one other person only. We talk a bit and it's all fine. I like having those conversations because I can listen to them.
