2D vs 3D
The 2D world against the 3D world.

For those not familiar with the 2D world, I am referring to anime, manga and whatnot; fictional characters designed, may have voice actors and are usually seen on a screen whether it be the TV or computer screen. Of course the latter term 3D world would refer to our reality where real and tangible girls exist.

Those who harbour affection or even stronger feelings for 2D girls are marked with stigmata, but there's a greater problem. There are those who perceive people who are engrossed in the Japanese culture of reading manga and watching anime to be of a lower standing with remarks such as "watching cartoons" and "childish and immature" being lumped in. However, there are also people who hold this perspective in a reversal; looking down upon those who are not interested in the 2D world, smacking a label on them proving that they are inferior for disliking 2D.

It's disgusting really, knowing that there are people out there who think they are a superior race just because they are into 2D stuff. What is this term? We already have racism with traits that we are born with, but now there's what, culture traits? No idea, but it's pathetic. Enough about that. What I'm going to focus on is the notion of 2D Girls vs 3D Girls.

It is human nature to be social. Whether you like it or not, it's built in. Why was language created? A form of communication was needed to fulfill humanity's desire to be social. And so relationships come into play. One-sided, mutual, stalker, homosexual and etc. Then there are relationships with those which are not human or cannot be defined as human such as objects. Hearing about people marrying the Eiffel Tower which lets us move to people marrying their DS which contains a 2D person. But no need to go far as marriage, just harbouring lots of affection is good enough at this stage.

Why do people have relationships with 2D girls? The answer is simple. 2D girls will accept anyone. Whether you have a stable job, perceived as "ugly" by society and such, or just haven't had the opportunity to have a relationship with a 3D girl, 2D girls will always accept you. However, I can confidently say that there are 2 categories; dating sims type and the extension type. 2 completely bullshit terms which I have just come up with.

Dating sims type refers to the 2D which reside in the computer where you control a character (customised by you or not) and can engage in activities with them. And the extension type which is the portrayal of the 2D girl in a person's mind. However the extension type is named so because the interactions shared between the two can be expressed with the human obtaining an object which is related to the said 2D girl such as figurines, dakimakura (google that if you want) or even just a picture will do. Most people equate money with a better relationship. The categories refer to where the 2D girl originated from for the sake of simplicity. If they were form an anime and such, you can't interact with her. If they were from a visual novel and such, then yes you could interact with her to a certain extent.

I've gone completely off topic. I will continue this another day. NTS: Continue on 2D girl relationships notion.
